Summary:
Health Access Connect is seeking a dedicated Human Resource (HR) Officer to manage all HR operations, develop policies, support recruitment, and maintain employee records. The HR Officer will work closely with the Finance and Administration Manager to ensure a positive working environment and efficient HR processes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle the recruitment process including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage leave and medical insurance.
- Support payroll processing, staff contracts, and performance management.
- Facilitate staff training and development programs.
Job Specification:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a generalist HR role.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Proficiency in MS Office; HRMS knowledge is a plus.
Compensation: 2,000,000 UGX before taxes, health insurance, and field travel expenses covered.

Health Access Connect is looking for a skilled MEAL Manager to oversee the monitoring and evaluation strategy, analyze data, and report on program impacts. The MEAL Manager will support all programs, manage data collection and analysis, and contribute to grant writing and communications.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement M&E frameworks and systems.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Support research initiatives and grant writing efforts.
- Prepare and disseminate reports to stakeholders and manage research collaborations.
Job Specification:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Development Economics, Statistics, or related field. Advanced certification in M&E is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in an NGO or research organization.
- Skills: Proficient in data analysis and reporting, excellent management skills, experience with grant writing, and knowledge of M&E frameworks.
Compensation: 4,200,000 UGX before taxes, health insurance, and field travel expenses covered.
