Summary:
The Program Officer will implement the USAID-OVCIR Activity multi-sectoral case management approach in collaboration with local governments. This role focuses on enhancing Uganda’s National Child Policy through effective case management strategies across clinics, schools, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify eligible beneficiaries for OVC services and monitor program objectives.
- Lead the technical implementation of OVC case management activities.
- Support cluster teams in establishing clinic-community referral pathways.
- Provide mentorship and coaching on case management principles.
- Coordinate with regional teams and local governments for effective service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Education, or related field.
- Postgraduate diploma in Project Planning and Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
