Summary:
FRI is seeking a talented UI Designer to enhance the user interface of the Uliza web application, integral to the Longa project aimed at improving Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) for African languages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop user interface designs aligned with user needs.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with UX writers and researchers to conduct user research.
• Perform usability testing and analyze feedback.
• Maintain design systems and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a UI Designer with a portfolio showcasing web applications.
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.).
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent intercultural communication skills.

Deliverables:

• High-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
• Design documentation and usability reports.
