Program Overview
The Graduate Internship Program (GRIP) offers recent graduates a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in humanitarian work. The FY 2025 program will run from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. We seek passionate individuals committed to making a difference, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas of Uganda.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will contribute to various projects in health, nutrition, WASH, education, and emergency response, working alongside experienced professionals.
Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Must be a Ugandan citizen.
- Education: Recent graduates (within the last two years) with a minimum of a Second Upper Class degree from a recognized university.
- Age: Must be 26 years or younger.
- Faith: Young Christian professionals actively involved in their church with strong values and outreach experience.
- Character: Demonstrate honesty, high competency, and good health (supported by a recent medical check-up).
- Preference: Graduates who have benefited from World Vision’s programs or sponsorship will be prioritized.
- Conflict of Interest: Disclosure of any potential conflicts, such as relatives affiliated with World Vision Uganda.

- Public Administration/SWASA: 3 positions (Kamwenge/Rakai/Mpigi)

- Human Nutrition: 2 positions (Karamoja/Pader)
- Agriculture: 4 positions (Gulu)
- Law: 1 position (Kampala)
