Fangne Forest Entertainment singer Mulwana Patrick alias Alien Skin has refund the local Mbarara Promoter’s 10 Millions Ugandan Shillings in fear of being arrested.

This came after receiving a serious warning from Promoter Balaam over missed show in one of the night hangouts in Mbarara and given period of 4 days to refund back the money or face jail.

With a palpable fear of arrest and a keen sense of responsibility, Alien Skin promptly repaid the UGx 10 million to the aggrieved promoter. However, a small balance still remains in this saga, illustrating the potential pitfalls of reneging on professional commitments in the entertainment industry.

Balaam Barugahale, upon the successful resolution of the matter, expressed his satisfaction at Alien Skin’s prompt action and recognized the importance of abiding by contractual obligations within the music business. He encouraged other musicians to take a page out of Alien Skin’s book and follow suit by returning money to promoters when they are unable to fulfill their performance commitments.

“It is all about business, nothing else, and musicians need to understand that business is business,” Barugahale emphasized.

In a statement posted on social media, Balaam Barugahale commended Alien Skin’s conduct and explained, “This is a professional conduct I urge other artists to emulate this gesture by always refunding organizers whenever you fail to appear. It’s unfortunate you failed to perform and yet you had been paid in full. However, with your explanation, we clearly understand the bigger consideration you got from a well-known selfish source. As a music and events promoter, I promise to do more business with you in the future. I caution you to be careful with the self-seekers!”
