Position Overview:

Piston Medical is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals for the Quality Control Trainee role. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in quality control within a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a Quality Control Trainee, you will be responsible for performing quality control tests and analyses, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and contributing to maintaining the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation and Reporting: Accurately record and report test results, observations, and data; generate analytical reports compliant with GLP and relevant regulations.
• Data Integrity: Ensure all electronic records are accurate, secure, and protected against unauthorized changes.
• Quality Compliance: Follow GLP and other quality regulations; assist in audits and implement corrective actions.
• Training and Development: Participate in training sessions, share knowledge, and assist in developing training materials.
• Out-of-Specification (OOS) Investigation: Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions for out-of-specification results.
• Analytical Method Verification/Validation: Participate in verifying and validating analytical methods.
• Instrument Qualification and Maintenance: Ensure laboratory instruments are qualified, maintained, and calibrated.
• Sampling: Implement sampling plans and maintain accurate records.
• Analytical Testing: Perform comprehensive testing and analysis of materials and products.
• Stability Testing: Design and execute stability studies, monitor product stability.
• Safety and Compliance Culture: Promote safety, quality, and compliance within the plant.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improving quality control processes and methodologies.

Minimum Position Qualification Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Experience: No prior experience required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in laboratory software, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are essential. Prior internship experience in a Quality Control laboratory is a plus.
