JOB PURPOSE:
As an Applications Tester, you will be responsible for creating and implementing testing strategies to ensure the delivery of robust and secure software applications.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Test developed applications by attempting to break code in novel ways.
- Identify and mitigate code defects.
- Assess software efficiency and responsiveness to client needs.
- Manage the applications testing process and implement automation of software testing.
- Write technical reports of findings and present them to the team.
- Support Fintechs during System Integration Tests (SITs) and provide technical and user support throughout integration.
- Analyze user and application requirements and provide technical advice on proposed solutions.
- Evaluate potential quality solutions and interact with vendors to understand business proposals and formulate technical requirements.
- Prepare and execute test cases, debug subsystems and components, and conduct security and risk assessments.
- Document test results and conduct User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of active IT experience.
- Experience in the SDLC as a Tester, Test Lead, or System Analyst.
- Proficiency in Agile/iterative and waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with manual and automated testing, including modern testing tools/platforms.
- Knowledge of software testing practices, data migration testing, system testing, and UAT support.
- Familiarity with banking operations, FinTech, and digital banking services in Uganda.
- Strong skills in communication, relationship building, and attention to detail.

JOB PURPOSE:
As a Lead Change Officer, you will support the implementation of strategic initiatives to ensure a smooth transition from projects to Business-as-Usual (BAU), addressing cultural factors associated with change and maximizing benefits.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to maximize user adoption and minimize risk.
- Tailor change management methodology to individual user needs.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, organizational assessment, impact analysis, training, communications, and adoption measurement throughout technology projects.
- Create actionable deliverables, including communication and training plans, and impact assessment/resistance management plans.
- Partner with Customer Experience to drive ongoing technology adoption and process improvement post-deployment.
- Ensure a smooth transition from projects to BAU, focusing on business readiness, training, process changes, and cultural transformation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Change Management or Project Management.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR, Communication, Marketing, or Change Management within a financial institution.
- Experience in leading digital or cultural transformation initiatives.
- Strong negotiation, project management, and people management skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Creative, energetic, resilient, and adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities.
