Position Overview: The Data & Systems Analyst will manage data systems, analyze program data, and provide insights to support decision-making and program improvement at Refactory. This role includes overseeing data collection, maintaining databases, generating reports, and developing analytical tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data collection protocols, surveys, and assessment tools.
- Compile, clean, and analyze educational data to generate reports and visualizations.
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify patterns and trends.
- Collaborate with program staff to translate data findings into actionable strategies.
- Manage and maintain the academy’s data systems, ensuring data accuracy and security.
- Provide training and support to staff on data analysis techniques and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis or database management.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist

Position Overview: The MEL Specialist will design and implement the monitoring and evaluation framework for Refactory’s programs, focusing on optimizing effectiveness and impact through data analysis and strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework.
- Coordinate data collection efforts and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
- Conduct evaluations to assess program outcomes and impacts.
- Facilitate learning activities to capture lessons learned and best practices.
- Provide training and technical assistance to staff on M&E concepts.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
