Summary: Nile Breweries Limited is seeking a dedicated Machine Specialist to ensure the optimal performance and maintenance of our energy and fluid plant systems. This role is crucial for maintaining plant availability and product quality while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to VPO safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards.
- Locate and manage plant equipment, spares, and relevant documentation.
- Plan and prepare for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Operate workshop equipment and manage utilities equipment.
- Ensure plant availability and optimize resource usage.
- Support process quality improvement and facilitate team problem-solving.
- Monitor system trends and implement corrective actions.
- Perform scheduled tasks and communicate effectively within the team.
- Contribute to personal and team development.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ammonia CAT A & B Certification.
- 3-5 years of experience in a utilities brewery production environment.
- 1-3 years of technical mechanical/electrical and utilities experience in a leadership capacity within an FMCG environment.
- Proficiency in utilities fundamentals and advanced utilities with experience in Steam Plant, Ammonia Refrigeration, CO2 Plant, Water Treatment, and Compressed Air.
Work Hours: 8
Experience Required: 36 months
Level of Education: Associate Degree

Summary: Nile Breweries Limited is looking for an Automation and Control Technician to maintain and repair computer-controlled systems on the packaging line, support line operations, and assist the electrical team with problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures and legislation.
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
- Locate and manage plant equipment, spares, and relevant documentation.
- Plan and prepare for repairs and maintenance.
- Continuously optimize plant and process equipment.
- Operate and calibrate plant and process equipment.
- Perform basic PLC software changes with necessary approvals.
- Support project scoping and upgrades to plant and processes.
- Communicate effectively within teams and contribute to self and team development.
- Utilize loss & waste and short interval control techniques to identify and resolve problems.
- Apply 5S standards and support quality at source.
Minimum Requirements:
- BSc or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing systems control and automation.
- 1-2 years as an Electrical Artisan in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of programming and software.
- Flexibility and ability to work effectively in teams.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
