Job Description:
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and direct supervision from the National Security Officer in the Staff Security Unit, the Security Assistant will support the implementation of safety and security plans, maintain communication systems, and assist with various security functions.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and advise on country-specific safety and security plans.
• Update regional contact and Call Sign lists; monitor communications systems.
• Liaise with UNDSS and local security stakeholders.
• Maintain and update security documentation and filing systems.
• Report significant security events/incidents promptly.
• Conduct radio procedure training and support investigations of security breaches.
• Assist with physical security surveys and compliance with security standards.
• Support staff compliance with safety protocols and conduct security training.
• Respond to security queries and coordinate emergency planning exercises.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Social Sciences, International Studies, or related fields (2 years of relevant experience) OR High School diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience: Experience in military, law enforcement, or related fields. Previous experience in UN Missions is advantageous.
• Languages: Fluency in English required; Kiswahili is desirable.

Job Summary:
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission, Supply Chain Officer, and direct supervision of the National Supply Chain Officer, the Senior Procurement Associate will oversee procurement, logistics, and common services functions in line with IOM regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage procurement and logistics staff.
• Plan, implement, and monitor procurement and logistical needs for IOM projects.
• Consolidate procurement requirements and optimize purchasing.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, analyze bids, and ensure compliance with procurement regulations.
• Manage purchase orders, vendor appraisals, and delivery schedules.
• Liaise with field offices to confirm receipt and update PRISM.
• Oversee invoice compliance and coordinate transportation logistics.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supplies, Business Administration, or related fields (4 years of relevant experience) OR High School diploma with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience: Experience in procurement/logistics in the UN system or a multinational organization is advantageous.
• Languages: Fluency in English required.
