Pastor Aloysious Bugingo, the lead pastor of Prayer Ministries International, has broken his silence to assure his followers that he is alive and well following an assassination attempt at his life.
Speaking from Namayumba, Wakiso, Pastor Bugingo conveyed gratitude for the prayers that poured in during a perilous moment.
“I am alive, thanks for praying for me. I survived, but our fellow church member Richard Muhumuza was not able to make it,” revealed Pastor Bugingo. Muhumuza, a cherished member of the congregation and pastor Bugingo’s assistant, lost his life in the shocking attack.
Detailing the aftermath of the assassination attempt, Pastor Bugingo shared, “I dashed to Mulago National Referral Hospital where the doctors attended to me and discharged me. As I am speaking now, God has given me another chance.” The pastor’s account underscores the immediate and life-saving medical attention he received, allowing him to stand resilient in the face of adversity.
In a powerful message of faith and reassurance, Pastor Bugingo urged his followers, “Do not fear, for God has saved us through his mercy and grace.”
