Summary:
SEMA is seeking two talented Creative Designers to join our dynamic team in Kampala. The Creative Designer will be responsible for crafting visually appealing designs that support our communication, reporting, and marketing efforts. This role involves producing a variety of design materials across print, digital, and multimedia formats to enhance SEMA’s brand identity and effectively convey our message.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Creation:
  • Develop creative concepts and designs for marketing materials including brochures, flyers, posters, and advertisements.
  • Design visually engaging layouts and graphics for reports, presentations, and infographics.
  • Create captivating visuals for social media platforms.
  • Develop branding materials such as logos, color palettes, and typography.
• Digital Design:
  • Design and develop website graphics, banners, and user interfaces.
  • Create digital illustrations and animations.
  • Ensure designs are optimized for various platforms and devices.
• Project Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with the communications team to devise design concepts and strategies.
  • Work closely with other departments to address their design needs.
• Software Proficiency:
  • Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, XD, After Effects, and Premiere Pro) to produce high-quality designs.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends and software advancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• 5 years of proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong visual communication and design skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
• Strong understanding of branding and visual identity.

Work Hours: 8 hours per day
