Pallaso Returns to the US After 10 Years

Singer Pius Mayanja, popularly known as Pallaso, has returned to the United States after nearly a decade. The “Mulamu” singer shared heartwarming moments with his children and his American wife, Nicole Hayman, on social media, announcing a joyous family reunion.

Pallaso’s social media posts captured sweet moments with his family, including photos from a children’s park and dining with Hayman and the kids. “This is the Type of Love that makes other things not matter. Park Day. What a Day,” he posted on X.

Last year, Hayman visited the Mayanja family in Kampala with their two children, Dinari Mayanja and Maisha Mayanja. Before this visit, Pallaso had last seen his children about nine years ago when Maisha was just one year old and Dinari was two.

A Journey from Pius Lizard to Pallaso

Pallaso began his singing career in the late 1990s under the stage name Pius Lizard. He was mentored by his brother, Joseph Mayanja, aka Jose Chameleone, under the Leone Island Music brand. However, in 2004, Pallaso put his music career on hold and moved to the United States in search of better opportunities. There, he started a family with Hayman, and they had two children.

Reviving His Music Career

In 2017, Pallaso revived his music career as his other brothers, Douglas Mayanja and the late Mowzey Radio, found success with the Goodlyfe Crew. While in the USA, Pallaso collaborated with them on the hit song “Amaaso,” which propelled his return to the Ugandan music scene.

Following the success of “Amaaso,” Pallaso decided to leave the USA and focus on his music career in Uganda. This decision proved fruitful as he has since become one of the most sought-after singers in the country.
