The Zzina Carnival, a highly anticipated event organized by 100.2 Galaxy FM, took a frightening turn on Sunday as singer Vyroota, known for his dynamic performances, collapsed onstage during his set.

Throughout the day, the carnival had been a vibrant celebration, drawing crowds from Kampala and nearby areas to revel in the music, sunshine, and lively atmosphere. As evening approached, the excitement peaked with Galaxy FM’s DJs spinning tunes and electrifying performances from Ugandan artists like Kim Bella, Vinka, and Gravity Omutujju.

However, Vyroota’s performance took a sudden and alarming turn when he fainted and fell onstage, sending shockwaves through the audience. Event staff acted swiftly, rushing him offstage and into an ambulance for medical attention.

The cause of Vyroota’s collapse remains unknown, leaving fans and fellow musicians anxiously awaiting updates on his condition. Social media platforms were flooded with well-wishes for his speedy recovery, reflecting the concern and support of the community.

Despite the setback, the show continued, albeit with a palpable sense of concern lingering in the air. Vyroota’s absence was keenly felt, his vibrant energy conspicuously absent from the carnival atmosphere.

While Vyroota has yet to provide any updates on his condition, Galaxy FM reassured the public that he is receiving the best possible care. Their social media post underscored the seriousness of the situation while expressing hope for Vyroota’s swift recovery.
