When it comes to Real Estate, Uganda is one of the fastest developing country in East Africa whereby most of the prominent richest businessmen have paved their own ways into venturing and investing into this sector.
From owning businesses and companies, the tycoons also own a number of arcades buildings and business centers in the central and other regions in the country.
1.Alykhan Karmali
Being the managing director of Mukwano Industries Uganda Limited, Alykhan Karmali is an Entrepreneur, businessman, philanthropist and an industrialist in Uganda.
It should however be noted that he is also a member company of Mukwano Group which was initially built by his father Amirali Karmali who rose to fame as a wealthy Ugandan businessman, manufacturer and entrepreneur in the 1930s as the CEO, founder and sole proprietor of the Mukwano Group of Companies with holdings in banking, Real Estate among others. Amirali Karmali died in 2019 in Kololo and therefore passed the empire to his son Alykhan Karmali.
However, these planned business magnets also own several Real Estate properties downtown and around Uganda which include:

2.John Sebalamu
Born in the mid 1950s and grew up in Kasanje present day Kalungu district, John Sebalamu is believed to have once been a matooke vendor and now the owner of freedom city.
He is a multiple property owner who started up the culture of shopping arcades in Kampala city including Capital House, Naiga Chambers, Freedom City which he says costed him around $1million dollars to mention but a few.
3.Tom Kitandwe
With an estimated networth of $10 million dollars, Tom Kitandwe owns several buildings in the heart of Kampala and a multimillion residence along Mityana road worth 800 million Uganda shillings.
Tom Kitandwe owns shopping arcades and commercial buildings including:
Mid City Arcade on Nakivubo Road
Nakasero Complex
Mackay Buildings
Shopping Arcades in kikuubo
Buildings in Arua park, behind Gazaland and park yard
4.Haruna Sentongo
A Ugandan entrepreneur, philanthropist and Real Estate dealer and also young brother to Hamis Kigunda aka Ham is the founder and owner of Haruna enterprises a cooperate company based in Kampala city.
Haruna Sentongo is believed to have risen from selling ladies bags and garments to owning residential properties and land.
He is also the prominent owner of Haruna towers located in Ntinda,Nakayiza market,NM apartments,Segawa market to mention but a few.
5.Hamis Kigundu
At the age of 40years, the tycoon has invested in Real Estate and he is in this case therefore the owner of Ham Towers, Ham properties including a 5 million dollar mansion on the shores of lake victoria which is also believed to be one of the most luxurious homes in the country.
Ham is currently developing the Ham palm Villas a residential estate which comprises of 500 fully serviced modern houses cemented on around 200 acres of land.
6.Sudhir Ruparelia
Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia had been for a long period of time topping the real estate game in the country. Under his Ruparelia Group of companies, he owns 17 companies which have contributed to hospitality, Real Estate among other different sectors.

7.Christine Nabukeera
Prominently known as one of Kampala’s successful real estate property moguls, she is also a sibling to Muwonge Sebalamu brothers.
Christine Nabukeera owns properties like:
Victor plaza in kikuubo
Kiseka Auto centre
Nana arcade in nabugabo to mention but a few.
Uganda as the pearl of Africa, has continuously set a big example to some of the East African countries due to its overwhelming and growing Real Estate sector at a high and increasing rate.
