Uganda Police Force has delivered a commanding performance at the 18th Inter-Forces Games 2026, dominating the Taekwondo competition with an impressive haul of eight gold medals at St. Joseph’s College Layibi in Gulu.
The Cops finished top of the standings with 11 medals in total — eight gold, one silver and two bronze — putting them ahead of the other security forces competing in the tournament.
The UPDF, under the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs, also collected 11 medals but managed only two gold, four silver and five bronze medals.
Uganda Prisons finished with 10 medals, comprising one gold, six silver and three bronze.
Police’s eight gold medals were won by PC Ogwal Faruk, PC Mugwori Christopher, PC Rackara Steven, PC Ocen Innocent, PC Adye Faith, PC Anyeko Isabella, Cpl Amongi Rebecca and PC Akello Eunice.
The dominant display adds another major highlight to Uganda Police Force’s campaign at the ongoing Inter-Forces Games, where Uganda’s security agencies are competing through sport and teamwork.
