The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) is seeking two qualified and dynamic individuals to join its team as Public Relations Officers. Duties and Responsibilities:

The Public Relations Officers will play a vital role in managing the public image of the URSB and ensuring effective communication across various platforms. Key responsibilities include:

• Visual Graphics Work: Execute tactical visual graphics work across multiple channels, including TV, web, social media, email, and in-store displays.
• Creative Development: Contribute to brainstorming sessions and develop new ideas for public relations campaigns.
• Campaign Design: Design visually compelling direct-response campaigns to attract and retain clients for registration services.
• Digital Presentations: Prepare digital product pitch presentations.
• Content Creation: Conceptualize and deliver creative content, including written, photo, and video assets, in line with URSB’s brand voice.
• Social Media Campaigns: Create and manage visually appealing video campaigns on social media, as well as email campaigns, and analyze their impact.
• Data Research: Conduct data research to grow and maintain the URSB’s client database.
• Content Editing: Edit and proofread public relations content for accuracy and impact.
• Copywriting: Assist with copywriting and editing content across various mediums, including social media, presentations, service packaging, and user manuals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Management Team and the Manager of Public Relations and Corporate Services to implement new ideas.
• Other Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Key Outputs:

• Public Relations Management: Manage the public relations efforts of the URSB to minimize public misunderstanding of the Bureau’s activities and objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Requirements: An Honors degree in Mass Communication, Social Sciences, or Marketing from a recognized institution.
