Socialite Zari Hassan and her husband Shakib Cham are reportedly facing tension following a surprise visit from Zari’s ex, Diamond Platnumz, during their daughter Princess Tiffah’s birthday celebration.
The unexpected visit took place at Zari’s home in South Africa, where Princess Tiffah was treated to a surprise birthday party. Diamond Platnumz’s unanticipated attendance sparked friction between Zari and Shakib, as Diamond’s presence at the party seemed to unsettle Shakib.
Addressing the situation, Zari clarified that she had not invited Diamond Platnumz to the party. Instead, she explained that Diamond was informed about the event by the housemaid and other occupants who had organized the lavish celebration for Princess Tiffah. She emphasized that she cannot restrict Diamond from seeing his children, urging Shakib to remain calm.
However, the situation appeared to have ignited deeper issues in their relationship. A visibly frustrated Zari questioned Shakib’s role in their marriage, rhetorically asking, “What do you bring to the table?” She expressed her fatigue with constantly having to prove herself to him.
Zari further stated that she isn’t afraid to criticize Shakib, noting that his feelings of insecurity do not impact her daily life or financial independence. “I foot most of my expenses, so there’s no risk for me,” she added, highlighting her self-reliance.
