Diana Museveni Kyaremera, daughter of Uganda’s own President Museveni, has confirmed her divorce from Mr. Geoffrey Kamuntu. The decree, issued back in 2022, has finally come to light, sending shockwaves through the nation.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Diana Museveni spilled the tea, “I have tried to keep my divorce private and out of the public sphere for the sake of my children. However, I feel the need to clarify now.”
With a heavy heart, Diana Museveni shared, “As you all know, divorce is a very difficult thing, especially when there are children involved.” One can only imagine the drama unfolding behind those grand palace doors.
As rumors swirl and speculation runs wild, the public is left wondering: what really went down between Diana Museveni and Mr. Kamuntu? Did he leave the toilet seat up one too many times? Was it a scandalous affair with the palace chef? Or perhaps just irreconcilable differences over whose turn it was to walk the royal corgis?
In these trying times, let’s rally together to support Diana Museveni and her family. As she gracefully puts it, “I ask that the public continues to pray for my family as we move forward from this difficult time and that you will respect our privacy.”
Below is her full statement;
