Summary:
Steel and Tube Industries is seeking an experienced IT/Computer Systems Specialist to drive digital transformation in our production operations. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Software Engineering, IT, Office Computing, or Computer Science and have over 5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for integrating automation and digital technologies into production.
- Ensure new digital systems integrate seamlessly with existing technologies.
- Align digital initiatives with business goals to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
- Implement tools for real-time data collection and analysis (e.g., IoT devices, ERP systems).
- Manage risk assessments and security monitoring.
- Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives using digital tools.
- Ensure effective training for employees on digital tools and platforms.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and continuously seek innovations to enhance production processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Software Engineering, IT, Office Computing, or Computer Science.
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Authority:
- Reports to the Chief Finance Officer.
Interfaces:
- All heads of departments and company staff.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:
- Ensure cleanliness and enforce PPE usage.
- Train workers on safety procedures.
- Support EHS improvements and address deficiencies.
- Facilitate staff and property security.
Work Hours: 8 hours/day

Position : Senior Accountant

Summary:
Steel and Tube Industries is looking for a Senior Accountant with a degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA, or a Master’s degree, and over 6 years of experience. This role involves managing comprehensive accounting functions and ensuring adherence to financial and tax regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Post and reconcile financial transactions including purchases, bills payable, and petty cash.
- Review and verify source documents for accuracy.
- Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and internal and external audits.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Reconcile creditors’ accounts and expense accounts.
- Maintain and analyze budget tables.
- Advise on accounting systems and tax strategies.
- Support in appraising and evaluating property and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA, or Master’s.
- Over 6 years of experience in a similar role.
Authority:
- Reports to the Finance Manager.
Interfaces:
- Trade debtors, creditors, and Administration Manager.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and enforce PPE usage.
- Provide safety training and support EHS initiatives.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and address any EHS deficiencies.
- Assist with incident investigations and ensure staff and property security.
