Position Overview:

DFCU Bank is seeking four highly skilled Software Developers to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining both existing and new business applications. This role involves application and software design, system optimization, and ensuring adherence to software development standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and customize software solutions by analyzing information needs, data usage, and work processes.
• Develop and maintain automated interfaces between core banking applications and interfacing systems.
• Prepare comprehensive system documentation for user support and production procedures.
• Analyze user requirements, develop system specifications, and design application programs.
• Create integrated solutions including applications, databases, and networks.
• Collaborate with vendors and strategic partners to recommend data interchange formats and APIs.
• Execute test cases and debug subsystems in both Test and Production environments.
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Ruby, JavaScript, CSS, PHP 5, and J2EE.
• Experience with relational database engines (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Practical experience with modern full-stack web development and mobile app development (Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, Flutter, React Native).
• Experience in Enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and administering various operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux) is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development with a solid background in analysis, design, implementation, and development.
• Proficiency with Git-based version control platforms and understanding of IT Risk and Security.
• Strong business process analysis skills, understanding of banking operations, and familiarity with financial services trends.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
