Maintenance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and resolve issues with minimal production downtime.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on all types of plant and equipment in a safe and timely manner.
• Estimate job durations and potential consequences of delays.
• Work within established timescales and maintain high-quality standards.
• Identify and escalate potential hazards or damage.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company targets.
• Log spare parts usage and carry out PPM schedules.
• Assist with the installation and repositioning of machinery.
• Utilize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for job tracking.
• Maintain a high standard of workplace organization using the 5S methodology.
• Promote environmental compliance and adhere to safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ordinary or Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution.
• At least 4 years of experience in mechanical equipment maintenance, preferably in manufacturing.
• Professional accreditation with an engineering institution is advantageous.

Job Title: Electrical Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, power equipment, and machinery components according to codes and specifications.
• Prioritize and process work orders efficiently.
• Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using testing instruments.
• Test circuits for compatibility and safety.
• Measure, cut, and install electrical conduit.
• Repair or recommend replacement of electrical units and complete work orders.
• Select materials and estimate time and costs.
• Inspect completed jobs for cleanliness and safety.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical tools and equipment.
• Follow established safety procedures for job duties, including lifting and climbing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ordinary Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
