Key Purpose Statement:
As a Process Operator – Water Treatment, your primary role is to ensure the water and wastewater treatment processes comply with all quality, food safety, and environmental standards. You will operate and maintain equipment according to work instructions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate process equipment as per work instructions.
- Conduct quality checks as per control and analysis practices.
- Maintain and update operating procedures for the water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Perform routine sampling of wastewater effluent.
- Adhere to housekeeping tasks, apply 5S principles, and follow safe work practices.
- Identify and rectify unsafe work practices.
- Maintain accurate records of routine tests and use the gap list for problem and improvement recording.
- Apply situational problem-solving techniques to address issues.
- Participate in food safety management system implementation.
- Report food safety, defense, and fraud-related issues to the SHEQ manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Additional computer and technical skills are advantageous.
Experience:
- Experience in food processing operations and process control.
Competencies:
- Teamwork and understanding of WCM foundational practices.
- Troubleshooting and computer skills.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, bottling principles, and SHEQ policies.

As a Process Operator, you will manage the process area according to work instructions, execute quality checks, and carry out autonomous maintenance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate the process area and adhere to usage standards.
- Conduct quality checks and record waste on documentation or information systems.
- Monitor process performance, address issues, and respond to stoppages.
- Perform housekeeping, deep cleaning, lubrication, and machine inspection as per schedules.
- Execute autonomous and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Participate in food safety management system implementation.
- Report food safety, defense, and fraud-related issues to the SHEQ manager.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in FMCGs and machine operation.
Competencies:
- Analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and strong communication.
- Leadership, change activism, and influential skills.
