Last Saturday night’s Strings of Love Concert brought Aziz Azion ‘s distinct voice , catchy rhythms ,and raggea vibes to Kampala Serena hotel , marking his first show in years .
Despite tickets selling at She 150,000, fans filled Serena’s Victoria hall to capacity proving that good music is good music , some critics had said Azion would not get the numbers not in ” this economy”, but the man who last held a concert in 2023 proved his naysayers wrong.
The concert started with Aziz Azion’s grand entrance, which was met with thunderous applause from the audience. He came on stage dressed to impress, and he looked every bit the superstar that he is.
As expected, Aziz Azion performed several of his old and new love songs, which were well received by the audience. Some of the standout songs included “Nkumila Omukwano,” “Chocolate Girl, Sweet Wakati” among many others.
Aziz Azion also brought on stage several guest artists, who added their unique flavour to the concert. Some of the guest artists included Rema Namakula, Jamal Wasswa, Fresh Kid and many others.
The concert was graced by notable figures in the music industry, including Nubian Li, Mesach Semakula, Nina Roz and many others.
The Strings of Love Concert was a great success, and it showcased Aziz Azion’s talent as a musician and performer. It was a night of love, music, and celebration, and it will be remembered by his fans for a long time to come.
