Politican and singer Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has touched down on the United Kingdom ( UK ) Soil again, following the official lifting of the travel ban imposed on him by the United Kingdom government.

The ban was originally imposed due to his controversial anti-gay lyrics released in 2014, where he urged the public to take action against individuals he referred to as “battymen”.

Human rights activists exerted significant pressure on the UK’s Home Office, demanding that Kyagulanyi be denied entry and the cancellation of his scheduled performance at the Troxy Arena in the UK.

Consequently, the Home Office kept the singer-turned-politician away from England since that time..

However, breaking the silence a few days ago , the singer announced his new newfound freedom to traverse British territory.

On Wednesday night after landing safely in the UK the Firebase singer expressed his gratitude and excitement for stepping his foot again on the United Kingdom soils after 10 years via his (X) twitter account.

” London , It’s been 10 long years “, he tweeted.

As the charismatic figure stepped onto British soil, he was met with an exuberant welcome from fans and friends who had eagerly awaited his return. The buzz surrounding his arrival hints at a mix of political and entertainment motives, leaving the public curious about the purpose behind his visit.

While the exact reasons for his London sojourn remain shrouded in mystery, speculations are rife that Bobi Wine might be using the opportunity to amplify his political beliefs and grace the launch of his much-anticipated documentary, “People’s President,” on the UK stage.

Insiders reveal that the singer-cum-politician is scheduled to meet with members of the Ugandan diaspora and human rights activists, engaging in discussions that could shed light on the current state of affairs in Uganda. Sources suggest that the multifaceted leader may leverage this platform to raise awareness about his political party, the National Unity Platform, and articulate its vision for Uganda’s future.

As Bobi Wine navigates the British landscape, his visit promises a blend of entertainment, political discourse, and a touch of advocacy. The once-banned icon is making waves, turning heads, and leaving fans and critics alike eagerly anticipating the unfolding chapters of his London saga.
