Ugandan musician Catherine Kusasira and her husband, Counsel Fred Sserugga, are celebrating a proud family moment after their eldest son, Junior Shadrak Jingo, graduated from Oregon State University in the United States.
The proud mother shared her excitement on social media, describing her son’s graduation as one of the happiest moments of her life.
Catherine praised Junior for his hard work, discipline and faith, saying he had made both her and his father proud.
“Son Junior Shadrak Jingo, you have made me the proudest mother in the whole world, together with your dad, Counsel Fred Sserugga,” she said.
She encouraged him to continue pursuing his dreams as he begins the next chapter of his life.
“Go into the world and shine. The future is bright because you’re in it. Congratulations Jingo Shadrak Junior. Keep winning, son,” she added.
The singer also appreciated her elder brother, Grace Ssekamate, for supporting Junior and stepping in as a father figure whenever she and her husband were unable to be in the United States.
She thanked him for being there for their son and supporting him throughout his studies.
Junior’s graduation marks a major milestone for the family as he begins a new chapter after completing his university education.
