City tycoon Karim Hirji and his glamorous lover, Cissy Karim, recently pulled out all the stops for their triplets’ birthday bash in Dubai. Snoops estimate that the extravagant event set them back at least sh100M or more.
The celebration, held last week, was a spectacle of pomp and luxury, with food and drinks surpassing those of most wedding receptions in Kampala. According to insiders, it felt more like a grand family engagement than a toddlers’ birthday party, with both families present, including Cissy’s close friends from Dubai and Kampala.
For some time, the well-known businessman has been lavishing gifts on his party-loving partner, Cissy, who has now upgraded to a luxurious lifestyle. The city hotelier reportedly spent around sh100M organizing the mega bash for his three sons as they turned five.
The celebration included covering air tickets and hotel expenses for guests flying in from various destinations. Part of a popular amusement park was hired for the boys to enjoy their special day.
Sources reveal that Cissy and her close friends have been living lavishly since she met the tycoon. Recently, it was reported that the tycoon spent nearly sh1bn on two latest Mercedes Benz models for Cissy, thanking her for her unconditional love following the passing of his first wife, Christine Kibirigge Karim.
Cissy has also invested heavily in posh condominium apartments in Kololo and Nakasero, commanding about 12 fully furnished apartments for rent. Despite their opulent lifestyle, the tycoon has kept their relationship away from the public eye.
Cissy shared a slideshow of the triplets enjoying the bash on her social media platforms, showcasing their fun at Dubai’s top amusement park. Netizens quickly responded, with one Marie Heavens commenting, “Imagine being so rich and then God blesses you with triplets, you people which God do you pray to?”
