Comedian Patrick Salvador Idiringi has joined Bebe Cool in addressing the challenges faced by Comedy Store CEO Alex Muhangi with Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
Bebe Cool recently revealed Muhangi’s silent battle with URA and threatened action against the government if taxation policies weren’t revised.
In response, Salvador took to Facebook Live to criticize Ugandan musicians for their silence on the matter, labeling them hypocrites.
He called on all musicians, including Eddy Kenzo and the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), to support Muhangi, emphasizing that he has provided a platform for many artists.
In a humorous twist, Salvador urged musicians to harmonize not only on stage but also offstage to confront URA’s taxing challenges.
The situation goes beyond Comedy Store, posing a threat to the entire entertainment industry, making Salvador’s call for unity a crucial moment in facing the fiscal challenges.
