The lucky recipient, a recent graduate, was gifted a Mercedes Benz C200 valued at shs70 million by her father during her graduation party.

In a captured video that has since gone viral, the generous father fulfilled a long-standing promise, stating, “This is to make you move, not to put you above others.”

The surprise left family members in awe, as the father revealed he meticulously planned the gift with only a select few in the know.

This unexpected twist added an extra layer of excitement to the celebratory occasion, making it a graduation party to remember.

Over 12,000 graduates crossed the stage to receive their degrees at the biggest public university in Uganda, Makerere, during the 74th graduation ceremony last week. As the joyous occasion came to a close, it was clear that amidst the sea of mortarboards and flowing robes, one graduate’s remarkable gift had become the talk of the town.
