Overview
Building Tomorrow (BT) is an international nonprofit focused on mobilizing communities in Uganda to ensure universal access to inclusive, quality education. We are seeking a Finance & Compliance Manager (FCM) to lead financial management and ensure compliance with USAID regulations for our new TLC project.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Management: Oversee financial management, budget development, variance reviews, and cash management processes.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with USAID and local laws. Conduct audits and risk assessments.
- Audit & Reporting: Coordinate annual audits, manage financial records, and communicate critical financial matters to leadership.
- Management & Leadership: Lead project operations, supervise staff, and conduct training on financial systems and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (ACCA preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years in program management, especially with USAID.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Overview
Building Tomorrow is looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Coordinator to implement a robust MEL system, analyze data, and support data-driven decision-making across our programs.
Key Responsibilities
- MEL System Development: Collaborate on data collection methods and manage tools like TaroWorks and Salesforce.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Implement monitoring plans, create dashboards, and communicate findings.
- Quality Assurance & Coaching: Train field staff on data collection and ensure data quality.
- Facilitating Learning: Translate data findings into actionable insights and promote a data-driven culture.
- Research Support: Collaborate on evaluations and analyze research data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 1-3 years of experience in MEL, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Proficiency in MEL frameworks and database management.
