Former Urban TV presenter Mary Luswata has publicly apologised to singer Juliana Kanyomozi for remarks she made following the heartbreaking loss of Juliana’s child.
Luswata made the apology during an exclusive interview on the latest episode of The Pick Up with Prim Asiimwe, where she was asked whether there was anything she said during her television career that she would take back or handle differently.
Reflecting on the painful episode involving Juliana, Luswata admitted that she was “young and stupid” at the time and acknowledged that she would have handled the situation differently if given another chance.

She used the opportunity to directly apologise to Juliana, acknowledging that her comments were inappropriate given the circumstances surrounding the singer’s loss.
According to Luswata, the experience taught her important lessons about dealing with sensitive situations, particularly when people are going through grief and personal tragedy.
Her apology comes years after the remarks, with Luswata now acknowledging the need for greater sensitivity when discussing deeply personal experiences involving public figures.
