Pastor Bugingo narrowly escaped armed assailants on motorcycles, sustaining minor injuries and tragically losing his bodyguard.
The incident has left a profound impact on Ugandans, prompting Pastor Ssempa to take precautions.
In an interview, he disclosed that, fearing for his safety, he refrained from returning home a day after the attack and has since adopted a vigilant lifestyle.
Pastor Ssempa attributes the assault on Pastor Bugingo to unresolved grievances with various individuals, including fellow pastors and politicians.
He further extended condolences to the family of Richard, the bodyguard who lost his life during the attack.
Seeking additional security measures, Pastor Ssempa appealed to President Museveni to enhance his protection.
