Get ready, whisky lovers! Uganda Breweries has just launched the “Love Scotch Affair,” a dazzling two-month celebration dedicated to everything Scotch whisky. The festivities kicked off in style with a media immersion event on Wednesday, May 29, 2023, and promise to keep the excitement flowing all summer long.

Starting Saturday, June 1, whisky enthusiasts across Uganda will dive into a world of Scotch, exploring the best ways to enjoy this timeless spirit. The campaign’s grand unveiling took place at the chic Molecule Lounge in Kololo, where select media personalities were treated to a sneak peek of the upcoming Love Scotch activations.

Guests at the launch were immersed in a luxurious “Love Scotch” experience, enjoying a deep dive into Uganda Breweries’ stellar Scotch whisky lineup. Highlights included mini mentorship sessions on the art of savoring Scotch, crafting signature cocktails, and unlocking the secrets behind Johnnie Walker’s exceptional blends and aging process.

Christine Kyokunda, the dynamic Scotch & Reserve Brand Manager at UBL, shared her excitement about the Love Scotch Affair. “This campaign is all about breaking the old rules and learning new, exciting ways to enjoy our Scotch. I can’t wait to bring this vibrant experience to our consumers,” Kyokunda exclaimed.

“The ‘Love Scotch’ campaign will light up Kampala from June 1 through to July, popping up in some of the city’s most exclusive bars. We’re inviting everyone to come out with friends and family to experience whisky like never before,” she added enthusiastically.

The “Love Scotch Affair” celebrates the entire whisky spectrum within the Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) portfolio. Single malt aficionados can savor The Singleton, while fans of the unique Black & White whisky are in for a treat. Plus, J&B and VAT 69 will be on hand to ensure there’s something special for every whisky lover.
