Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango has confirmed the recovery of seven bullets from the deceased bodyguard, Richard Muhumuza, following an attack on Pastor Aloysius Bugingo of House of Prayer Ministries International on January 1.
The bullets extracted have been submitted for forensic analysis as part of the ongoing investigation.
CCTV footage from various sources, including Salt Media cameras along the pastor’s route, has also been obtained and is under scrutiny.
Onyango expressed concerns about the possibility of assailants trailing Pr Bugingo and emphasized the need for public cooperation in providing relevant information.
Despite the severity of the incident, no suspects have been apprehended, heightening community anxiety.
Authorities continue to urge individuals with pertinent details to step forward, emphasizing their commitment to solving the crime and ensuring justice for the victims.
