Ugandan Chef Dorcus Kirabo Bashebah is gearing up to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual. The groundbreaking attempt is scheduled for December 23, 2023, right here in Kira.

Chef Dorcus Kirabo, celebrated for her innovative culinary creations, is poised to showcase her endurance and culinary finesse as she endeavors to cook continuously for an unprecedented 121 hours. This remarkable feat requires not only exceptional cooking skills but also unparalleled determination.

Speaking about her upcoming challenge, Chef Kirabo Dorcus warmly invites the Kampalans to join her in Kira on this epic culinary journey. “Whoever can eat and cheer me on, please come through. As she steps into the spotlight, Chef Kirabo Dorcus is chasing a record currently held by Alan Fisher of Ireland, who achieved a cooking marathon lasting 119 hours, 57 minutes, and 16 seconds in Matsue, Shimane, Japan, from September 28 to October 3, 2023. The Ugandan chef’s attempt not only seeks to surpass this recent record but aims to set a new benchmark for individual cooking marathons.
