Miss Uganda Hannah Karema has been crowned the Beauty With a Purpose Africa winner at the prestigious Miss World Beauty Pageant. This remarkable recognition comes as a testament to Karema’s tireless efforts and dedication to making a positive impact in her community and beyond.
Karema has been actively involved in advocacy work, particularly focusing on discouraging parents from engaging their daughters at a young age, a practice still prevalent in certain regions of Uganda. Her message is clear: parents should believe in and support their daughters’ dreams and aspirations, empowering them to reach for the stars.
In addition to her advocacy work, Miss World Uganda has been at the forefront of distributing sanitary towels and pads to girls in need.
