The singer emphasizes that recent years wouldn’t have allowed for such a comeback, but now, having grown and overcome past issues, it felt right.
Cindy further mentions that they took the time to meet, talk, and address their emotions, acknowledging that leaving certain tendencies behind was key to making the reunion possible.
Reflecting on the past, Cindy reveals that the group faced challenges in managing their workload, as their manager, Steve Jean, urged them to seize opportunities. This led to a period of intense work for two years, prompting Cindy to raise concerns about their well-being.
When her concerns weren’t addressed, she decided to step away from the group.
