Following Kin Kariisa’s retirement, Dr. Innocent Nahabwe, CEO of Galaxy FM radio and TV, steps into the position of Chairman at the National Association of Broadcasters Uganda. Kariisa, who took over from Capt. Edward Francis in November 2017, served for nearly three years.
The transition took place at NAB’s 24th annual general meeting in Kampala, where Dr. Nahabwe, formerly the vice Chairman, officially took on the role of Chairman.
Assisting Chairman Nahabwe in his responsibilities are NAB Vice Chairperson Mr. Joseph Kigozi and NAB Secretary General Mr. Joseph Beyanga.
Dr. Innocent Nahabwe, known for his entrepreneurial prowess, is the current CEO of Galaxy FM, Blue Cube Limited, Kagwirwao, Sports Betting, and MD of Howwe.biz and Ugziki.ug.
A veterinary doctor turned marketer, he authored ‘Treating Small Business,’ a book launched in July 2019. His professional background includes stints at New Vision newspaper and SMS media.
