Renowned Kenyan rapper, Nazizi Hirji, and her husband are grieving the unexpected passing of their youngest son, Jazeel.
As revealed by Nazizi’s close friend, Wyre, in a social media post on Wednesday, the 3-year-old met a tragic fate in an accident on Christmas day at their Tanzanian hotel.
Jazeel’s remains were repatriated to Nairobi and laid to rest on Wednesday in accordance with Islamic customs.
During this difficult time, the family has appealed for privacy as they navigate through their grief.
“Your compassion and understanding are requested to afford them peace in this moment of mourning. Nazizi and her family seek the space to commence the healing process. Further details will be shared once the family has had time to cope with their profound loss,” the statement emphasized.
