Controversial Masaka City businessman , Emmanuel Lwasa Kaweesi has accused media personality and actress Dianah Nabatanzi of Playing a role in his recent arrest.
Lwasa was put behind bars last week over debt of 20 Million Ugandan Shillings .But he regained his freedom a few days ago after being granted bail
The peculiar debt saga began with the sponsorship of his former lover ,Dianah Nabatanzi’s show ,which ultimately ended their love affair.
While opening up about his recent stint behind bars with one of local TV stations after his release, Lwasa disclosed that an advertisement contract he inked with Buganda Kingdom TV stations was the one dragged him into trouble.
He claimed that he entered one contract with the station to run adverts for his events company on the which is hosted by his ex-lover Dianah Nabatanzi.
That he intially paid shs 9 million out of the 25 Million, however after three months Nabatanzi stopped running his adverts without clear reasons.
He added that how the media outlet expected him to pay the balance yet they had stopped running his adverts.
He further refuted the allegations that the Money for his release was just collected from his well – wishers , saying that he used his personal funds to clear the debt and he fully settled it and never sold off his iPhone before expressing his disappointment with BBS Terefayina and Buganda Kingdom having worked with for a long time , only for them to turn against him.
