Sweden-based Ugandan-Congolese TikToker Merveille Ansiima has announced that her marriage has come to an end after seven years together, stemming from the painful story of how her stepfather slept with her countless times.
In a heartfelt message shared with her followers, Merveille said the decision was one of the hardest moments of her life but explained that they will remain committed to raising their three children together.
“After 7 years together, our journey as a couple has come to an end. We are no longer together and have decided to go our separate ways,” she wrote.
The content creator said she never imagined having to share such news publicly, adding that she is trusting God to help her heal during the difficult period.
She emphasized that although their relationship has ended, both parents will continue working together to give their children love, care, and support.
“Our focus now is on co-parenting with love, respect, and grace as we raise our three handsome boys together. They will always have the love of both their mother and father,” she added.
Merveille also asked fans to respect her privacy, saying she will not reveal details surrounding the separation in order to protect her peace, the children, and everyone involved.
The announcement comes at a challenging time for Merveille, who has previously spoken publicly about her personal struggles, including childhood abuse allegations and what she described as a lack of support from some family members.
