Ugandan media personality Sheila Salta has officially announced her departure from NRG Radio Uganda after four years at the station.
Salta, who joined NRG Radio as one of its launch presenters in early 2023, became a familiar voice on The Transit Show, where she entertained listeners with her afternoon drive-time show.
In a heartfelt announcement, Salta reflected on her journey, thanking her listeners, colleagues and the NRG family for the experiences and opportunities she received during her time at the station.
She said the chapter had shaped her both personally and professionally, while appreciating everyone who supported her through the years.
Salta, who previously co-hosted KatchUp on NBS TV, did not reveal her next destination but hinted that her departure is not a permanent goodbye to the spotlight.
“PUBLIC Announcement
After four incredible years with NRG Radio, the time has come for me to close this chapter and say goodbye. ❤️
What a journey it has been.
From the very first day to the countless afternoons, conversations, laughs, challenges and unforgettable moments on The Transit Show, this chapter has shaped me in so many beautiful ways.
I’m deeply grateful for the people I’ve met, the friendships I’ve built, the lessons I’ve learned, and every single listener who tuned in, supported me, laughed with me, challenged me and made me feel heard.
To my NRG family — thank you for giving me a platform to be myself, to grow, to create and to connect with so many amazing people. I will carry these memories and experiences with me wherever I go.
This isn’t goodbye forever… it’s simply the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
I’m excited for what’s next, ready for new challenges, new opportunities, new dreams and new adventures.
Here’s to the next chapter. 🥂✨
With love and gratitude, Sheila Salta ♡” she said.
Her exit now leaves fans curious about where the popular presenter will take her broadcasting career next.
