Abraham Muhumuza, a 28-year-old scrap dealer from Wakiso district, has been held in Luzira Prison after allegedly trespassing into State House Nakasero in Kampala.
The prosecution asserts that on November 30, 2023, Muhumuza entered the premises with the alleged intention to annoy and intimidate Special Forces Command (SFC) soldiers.
Despite his claim of collecting scrap, he faces charges of trespass.
Magistrate Winnie Nankya Jatiko at Buganda Road Court Grade One presided over his case, and Muhumuza, maintaining his innocence, awaits further proceedings in Luzira prison until January 19, 2024.
