Dean Lubowa Saava, a former NTV-Uganda journalist, was forcibly taken from his office by unidentified armed individuals.
A video circulating on social media captures Saava resisting arrest and asserting his innocence, but security operatives overpowered him, leading to his transportation to an undisclosed location.
The motive behind his
arrest remains unknown at this time.
This isn’t Saava’s first brush with the law; he faced previous arrests on charges including fraud, human trafficking, obtaining money under false pretenses.
