The public fallout between Ugandan music star Moses Ssali popularly known as Bebe Cool and former Miss Rwanda 2016 Jolly Mutesi appears to be over after Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, confirmed that the singer has apologized and that Mutesi has accepted the apology.
The dispute began when Bebe Cool shared WhatsApp screenshots and accused Mutesi of allegedly misleading him with promises of Arsenal FC connections, a meeting with football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, and opportunities linked to the FIFA World Cup.
Mutesi denied the allegations, insisting she was not involved and suggesting that impersonators may have been behind the communications. She later instructed her lawyers to issue a 48-hour demand notice, calling on Bebe Cool to retract the claims or face legal action.

Muhoozi, who described Bebe Cool as his brother, stepped in to mediate the matter behind the scenes. Following his intervention, Bebe Cool agreed to apologize, while Mutesi accepted the apology, bringing the social media storm to an end.
The feud had sparked widespread debate online, drawing reactions from both Uganda and Rwanda before the two sides agreed to settle the matter privately.
