Events organiser and talent manager Abbey Musinguzi, popularly known as Abtex Promotions, has revealed the conditions singer Pius Mayanja, alias Pallaso, would have to meet before he agrees to organise his next concert. Ugandan businessman and Simba Group of Companies chairman Patrick Bitature has been ordered by the Commercial Court to pay Finicon (U) Ltd US$256,136.17 (app. UGx 955 Million) in outstanding architectural consultancy fees. Police in Nakaseke District have arrested 22 people after intercepting a taxi allegedly carrying hunting equipment, suspected wildlife products and wild meat. The suspects were arrested on Monday, August 17, 2026, at around 11:00 p.m. after officers manning a snap checkpoint stopped a white Toyota Hiace taxi, registration number UAV 523K.
