Parliament has questioned the government’s spending of Shs122 billion on operating the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway toll system while only Shs129 billion has been collected in revenue, demanding answers on whether the road is delivering value for taxpayers’ money. Teso Talent Foundation, founder Boniface Eyagu has been sentenced to one year in prison after admitting to stealing Shs3.1 million donated by UK sponsors to pay school fees for vulnerable children in the Teso sub-region. Eyagu, the founder of Teso Talent Foundation, was convicted by the Ngora Grade One Magistrate’s Court after pleading guilty to misappropriating the funds.
