The Uganda Special Forces Command (SFC) has appointed Lt Col Frank Murema as the new Commander of the 16 Service Brigade, a unit responsible for providing logistical support and supporting the welfare of SFC personnel during operations. The Uganda Network of AIDS Service Organisations (UNASO) has urged the government to urgently address the growing shortage of condoms, warning that the crisis could undermine the country’s fight against HIV/AIDS.
