Ugandan media personality and events host Sheilah Gashumba has reportedly taken legal action against NRG Radio presenter Evelyn Mic, demanding Shs880 million over comments of her relationship with businessman Alex Bidandi.
According to entertainment critic Wayne Frank Ntambi, Sheilah’s lawyers issued Evelyn with a pre-action demand requiring her to delete the disputed content, issue a public apology, publish a newspaper retraction, make an on-air correction and refrain from repeating the claims.
Evelyn has reportedly been given seven days to comply before Sheilah’s legal team considers further court action.
The dispute reportedly began after Evelyn alleged on air that Sheilah and Bidandi had ended their relationship. Sheilah later denied the claims during an interview hosted by Ntambi, while also questioning Evelyn’s credibility.

Evelyn, however, reportedly maintained her position and claimed that she had evidence to support her statements.
Ntambi has also reported that another legal notice was issued to media personality Robin Kisti, who has had a longstanding public disagreement with Sheilah dating back to their time at NTV Uganda.
The latest dispute has now moved beyond public exchanges, with legal demands reportedly being issued as the personalities continue to disagree over the claims.
The allegations and demands remain subject to any further legal proceedings, and no court has determined the merits of the claims at this stage.
