Artistes Herbert Skillz and Weasel Manizo have teamed up for “Wumula,” an emotional song paying tribute to late Goodlyfe star Mowzey Radio.

The song, whose title means “rest” in Luganda, features vocals from both Herbert Skillz and Weasel, with Herbert Skillz also handling production. Its lyrics reflect grief, cherished memories and the hope of reuniting with a departed loved one.

The music video was released on the Radio & Weasel Goodlyfe YouTube channel, giving fans another opportunity to celebrate Radio’s life and musical legacy.

Mowzey Radio, whose real name was Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo, died on February 1, 2018, aged 33, following complications from a severe head injury.

As one half of Radio & Weasel, he helped shape Uganda’s music scene with hits such as “Nakudata,” “Lwaki Onumya” and “Bread and Butter,” earning a devoted following across East Africa.

The release follows studio clips Herbert Skillz shared in early October featuring himself and Weasel working together.

Fans have since responded emotionally to the collaboration, reflecting on Radio’s lasting influence and the legacy he left behind.

Through “Wumula,” Herbert Skillz and Weasel celebrate the memory of a musical icon whose voice and contribution to Ugandan music continue to resonate years after his death.
